The Executive Director is responsible for implementing the mission of the WAPC and the PF, as established by the Boards of Directors. The ED directs the overall operations of the WAPC and the PF to include administrative and management responsibilities.
Skills: • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills required. • Use of contemporary computer technologies required. • Must have access to an automobile, a valid driver’s license, and be willing to travel throughout the State of Wisconsin, with moderate out of state travel.

Formed in 1985, the Perinatal Foundation is the supporting organization of the Wisconsin Association for Perinatal Care. Over its history, the Foundation provided grants for over $1 million dollars, led a multi-phased initiative about prenatal and postpartum depression, and supported multiple innovative efforts of WAPC. Some examples are a fetal monitoring course, a statewide perinatal data platform, transitional care for infants who have been in the NICU, recommendations for laboratory testing during pregnancy, and pre and interconception care resources.
