Provide administrative support to ISPE’s President & CEO to ensure an organized administrative environment.
Construct and/contribute to draft letters, reports, power point presentations and research for speeches for CEO and Society Officers.
Support the CEO in monitoring industry news, trends and identify potential outreach efforts and opportunities.
Participate in and /or coordinate internal and external committees or task forces such as Direct Reports, All Staff Meetings, Executive Council, Board of Directors, Governance Work Group, Nominating Committees, ILF, and others, and maintain Board COP site.
Maintain all requisite detail and documentation related to the President & CEO’s calendar and travel, make travel arrangements and & accommodations (domestic & international), prepare itineraries and triage meeting requests.
Produce a schedule of onsite events for the President & CEO at ISPE meetings and conferences and manage competing priorities.
Manage all aspects of the Global Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Leadership Forum (GPMLF), including:
Manage all aspects of the biannual GPMLF meetings
Manage and update group roster
Work with leadership to develop meeting agendas
Manage meeting speakers and liaise with Regulatory Affairs staff on regulator invitations
Manage Leadership Reception at Annual Meeting
Manage the planning, development and coordination of communication, agendas, minutes, programs, logistics and volunteers for the following executive-level groups:
Board of Directors
Board Officer Nominating Committee
Governance & Board support
Serve as the single point of contact for the International Board of Director members and provide support in developing agendas, meeting minutes and scheduling.
Lead all Society governance projects from start to finish, including:
Annual International Board of Directors nomination and election process
Annual updates to ISPE governance structure and policies
Committee leadership appointments
Provide guidance to staff and volunteers on governance-related questions and issues
Education, Experience and Skills:
An understanding of non-profit member focused organizations and a high level of awareness of the value and purpose of membership associations.
BA or BS degree with a strong business, communications or marketing background preferred
7-10 years of solid experience supporting a busy executive.
Must have experience working with Board of Directors.
Must be a person of integrity who effectively utilizes discretion regarding proprietary information and confidential matters.
