Non-profit credentialing organization seeks full-time customer service oriented Administrative Assistant for its 20 employee office in Old Town Alexandria.
This exciting, full-time position reports to the Director of Human Resources and serves as the primary customer service contact for all ABC constituents.
Specific areas of responsibility include:
Office Support/Customer Service
Serves as the assistant to the Director of Human Resources for all admin activities related to the day-to-day operations of the ABC offices. Will be responsible for providing exceptional customer support to both internal and external customers.
Answers multi-line telephones
Primary point of contact for multiline telephone system for incoming calls
Provides verbal certification verification to individuals, employers, state licensure boards and hospitals.
Assists in ordering office supplies
Receives, sorts, and routes mail and courier packages
Processes daily mail including certified mail and international mail services
Maintains the efficient operation of all office equipment by performing minor service duties and arranging for routine and necessary maintenance as needed
State Licensure of Credentialed Individuals
Serves as the primary point of contact for all state licensure questions and issues. Routinely monitors each state’s licensure information to ensure that the ABC on-line resource is accurate, updating the licensure database as necessary.
Serves as the primary point of contact for all state licensure questions and issues.
Works with the Director, Clinical Resources to keep abreast of changes in state licensure laws and effecting those changes in the database.
Monitors on a quarterly basis each state’s licensure information to ensure that the ABC online resource is accurate, updating the licensure database as necessary.
