National trade association in the telecommunications industry is seeking a communications specialist to manage website content, coordinate and write articles for publications, develop, implement and maintain social media initiatives and support public relations and measurement activities. Position will spend significant time working independently and will report to public relations and publications managers.
Requirements include excellent interpersonal communication skills, experience with digital publishing and content management, writing and editing principles and practices and practices; understanding of the publication process; college degree in communications; public relations, journalism or related field and a minimum of 2-4 years of related work experience.
