The Education Coordinator is a customer-focused position that provides administrative support to the ASCCP Education Department.
Coordinates all CME activities, ensures compliance with Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) Criteria and Standards for Commercial Support, and supports program planning and speaker management.
Enters CME activity information in the ACCME PARS system
Provides administrative support to CME activity participants, including tracking evaluations and certificates
Coordinates invitations to faculty, collection and review of lectures and conflict of interest forms, and submission of supporting documents
Assists Meeting Planner with packing and shipping of meeting materials and equipment
Enters pre-/post-test and course/faculty evaluation questions into the Learning Management System
Enters meeting information into the Meeting Management System
Tallies pre-/post-test and evaluation data
Provides administrative support to various ASCCP committees
Formats slide decks for CME courses
Coordinates educational programs including, but not limited to, Residents’ Exam, Colposcopy Mentorship Program, and Colposcopy Recognition Award Exam
Provides administrative support for abstract review process
Performs other duties as assigned
Bachelor’s degree in business, education, communication or other relevant discipline preferred.
3 years’ general administrative experience, including database management required.
Must be detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and within deadlines, take initiative, work autonomously, and possess excellent organization, interpersonal, time management, customer service, and verbal/written communication skills.
Experience with ACCME Accreditation Criteria and Standards for Commercial Support and/or CME activities highly desired.
Proficient with MS Office and database software required.
Ability for potential travel, weekend work and overtime required
