The Programs Manager is responsible for planning and executing all programs on behalf of the IRTBA. An extraordinary attention to detail, consistently positive attitude, and professional demeanor are all essential characteristics for the successful candidate.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:
Staff various IRTBA committees which function as a resource for IRTBA Programs (e.g. Training and Education, Green Council, Road Builder Charities).
Research industry trends for potential programs.
Plan and coordinate all webinar and seminar events.
Organize and schedule all speakers, including those for webinars, seminars, membership meetings, annual convention and Emerging Leaders Program.
Prepare and/or assemble print and digital materials required for programs.
Assemble Annual Awards Program information for program.
Coordinate with Event Planner and Communications Director on every program.
Attend all programs and ensure speakers and materials are presented properly.
Coordinate audio visual for all programs.
Attend and assist at every IRTBA event, including but not limited to General Membership Meetings, Annual Meeting, Annual Convention, Golf Outing, Networking Event, Webinars, Emerging Leaders Program, Road Builders Charities, and Green Council Annual Meeting.
Direct and execute Emerging Leaders Program, including travel as required for program.
Prepare program for Annual Awards event, including speaker coordination and printed program.
Conduct post-program surveys for all events.
Arrange transportation and lodging for Springfield, Washington D.C. and other travel as appropriate.
Organize all political fundraising events, including contribution requests.
Attend industry cooperative meetings as required.
Write newsletter articles as required.
Assists CEO and lobbyist in organization of government affairs issues and programs.
Ensure IRTBA website accurately reflects current programs and events.
Assist in promoting IRTBA programs and issues through social media.
Assist in IRTBA database management as needed.
Attend Annual Convention and assist Event Planner and President at convention as needed; domestic and international travel is required.
