The Director of Membership, an essential part of the ASPEN leadership team, is responsible for all of ASPEN’s membership initiatives. This position is instrumental in designing and leveraging the value of membership to grow the organization across key markets. The Director guides and implements the strategic direction and operations of all membership activities, volunteer and component engagement, recruitment, and retention. This position is also responsible for the leadership, management, and operations of the Membership team, including hands-on tactical implementation of membership strategies.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual who thrives on variety, takes initiative, and possesses a desire to build and strengthen ASPEN's community. A commitment to excellence and collaboration is a must. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated knowledge of current membership trends, including alternative membership structures (such as tiered, hybrid, etc.); use of online communities to reinforce connections between members and the organization; and a successful track record of managing multiple priorities.
