Description: Provides administrative and clerical support to the meetings department. Assists with various components of meeting operations and logistics for a variety of external and internal company meetings and projects; in addition to supporting the company airline travel program.
Provide administrative and clerical support to the directors and the meetings department.
Provide meeting attendee, vendor and exhibitor customer service via phone and email.
Support the airline travel booking process for staff and volunteers.
Assist with RSNA internal conference center meeting management including calendar coordination, ordering catering, meeting room set-up and audio visual.
Assist managers with various advance and onsite aspects of meeting logistics signage, badges, roster, production, freight, set-up and execution.
Support marketing efforts of team by coordinating necessary online and print forms, brochures and websites.
Assists the Digital Event Strategist with the annual virtual meeting and webinar series.
Assist the department overall as needed.
The successful candidate:
Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
1-2 years of proven administrative support experience; meeting and event administration a plus.
Corporate travel or travel agency experience a plus.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
Capable of providing excellent customer service.
Sharp eye for detail and the ability to work independently while adhering to standard operating procedures.
Must be self-directed, flexible, and have the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Enjoys working in a high-paced, very productive atmosphere and has the ability to complete multiple tasks and high volume of work on firm deadlines.
Availability to travel locally for meetings, if needed.
Ability to plan and prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
